Joleen established her career with Northwestern Mutual and with Thomas Horky in July, 2003. Since that time, she has become an essential part of his business. Her attention to detail, strong work ethic, and communication skills were what Tom was looking for in an associate for his business. She is a “can do” person who runs all of the day-to-day operations of the business and is the first person clients as well as underwriters, financial institutions, and vendors communicate with on a daily basis. She has a B.A. degree from The University of Iowa in Business Communications and a A.S. Degree in Business from Highland College. She is licensed in health and life and holds her 6 & 63 securities licenses. Her biggest asset is her strong administrative skills. She is always there to help out not only the clients but also the people who work with her. She is someone who is looked upon for guidance and advice by financial representatives and her fellow coworkers. It is with this in mind that in 2008 she was awarded the Commitment to Excellence Award for field staff and associates for her outstanding dedication to clients as well as those in the field. She has held positions on 2 committees at the home office to help improve overall work flow for Northwestern Mutual.
In her personal time, Joleen is married to Dan, who is a banking executive, and they have 2 boys. She loves to travel and spend time with her family and embracing whatever life throws her way.

Katie worked as a Financial Services & Marketing Coordinator for the network office in Middleton before joining Tom’s team in June 2005. She has a B.A. degree from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh in Finance and Marketing and is a registered representative of Northwestern Mutual Investment Services, LLC and also holds a life and health insurance license. Katie utilizes her strengths to assist Tom in building investment plans for his clients.
In her personal time Katie lives in the Madison area and enjoys spending time with her husband and three children.
